Chandigarh: Former India cricketer and AAP member Harbhajan Singh on Saturday announced he will give away his Rajya Sabha salary to the daughters of farmers for their education and welfare. He took to Twitter to make the announcement.
“As a Rajya Sabha member, I want to contribute my salary to the daughters of farmers for their education and welfare. I’ve joined to contribute to the betterment of our nation and will do everything I can. Jai Hind,” he said.
In December, Harbhajan Singh announced retirement from all forms of competitive cricket.
