WORLD EARTH DAY 2022
Earth Day, APRIL 22: This day has grown into a powerful global movement that encourages us to conserve our planet by organizing community cleanups, demonstrations, and education. Every year on April 22nd, we commemorate this special day, since 1970. Earth Day, which is already focused on environmental protection, also offers important opportunities to educate people about the effects of climate change and inspire them to take climate action.
Today, not only is Earth Day a day meant to increase awareness of environmental problems, but it is also becoming a popular time for many communities to gather together to clean up litter, plant trees, or simply reflect on the beauty of nature.
Despite our gains, we still have a long way to go in terms of halting environmental degradation and slowing climate change. Earth Day is an opportunity to emphasis these primary concerns that impact all of us. We can make a big difference by making little improvements.
